- Eat the gold pellet to grow longer and earn a point.
- Don't run into the wall or your own tail — the round ends instantly.
- Your best score is saved in your browser, so you can come back and beat it.
Game description
Snake is one of the simplest and most enduring video games ever made — a single line that grows longer each time it eats, eventually filling so much of the screen that staying alive becomes a real spatial puzzle. The rules take five seconds to learn, but the game keeps surprising experienced players because each new pellet changes the shape of the safe space.
This version runs entirely in your browser. There is no download, no account, no level system to grind through. Just a square board, a snake, and a small gold dot. Open the tab, take five quick minutes between meetings or trains, beat your best score, and close it. Snake is the original short-session game and it still works exactly as it should.
