About this game
Whack-a-Mole is a thirty-second reflex test. Moles emerge one or two at a time from a 3×3 grid and stay visible for less than a second each. The score isn't really about accuracy — once you're hitting most of them, the ceiling is your reaction speed and your ability to track multiple visual targets at once.
A good score for a casual player is fifteen hits; an excellent score is twenty-five or more. The game is short on purpose: thirty seconds is just long enough that your reflexes peak and just short enough that you'll want to play again immediately. It pairs well with a coffee break.
