Game description
Hangman is the classic deduction game: figure out a hidden word by guessing letters one at a time. It's been played on schoolyard whiteboards and notebook paper for generations because the rules are simple, the strategy is real, and any size word list keeps it fresh.
This browser version uses a carefully curated set of common-but-interesting English words. There's a small amount of strategy hiding inside: think about the most frequent letters (E, T, A, O, I, N) early, then work outward to less common ones once you have a foothold. Each round takes thirty seconds to a minute — perfect for a quick break.
